Cine suntem?

Who are we?

We are the organising team of Robotics Championship held in Oradea. The team is formed out of students, pupils and teachers with a passion for robotics, open for volunteering, for the practic development of programming and design in the robotics domain.

The initiative for this competition was developed and still supported by students and teachers from the Mechatronics and Robotics departments from the Faculty of Managerial and Technological Engineering.

Why Robotics Championship Oradea?

While organising this competition we are open to international collaborations between students and companies, with the goal of developing the new generation of engineers, programmers and designers!

During the two competition days, each participating team will compete with the robots constructed and programmed by them within an international competition of passionate people. As of today, Robotics Championship is the only educational manifestation oriented towards robotics in Bihor county, which succeeds to gather annually participants from every corners of the country and even neighbouring countries.

The organised events by the Robotics Championship team resulted in the development of students and pupils offering them a significant advantage comparing to the conventional learning methods.

2010
Prima editie
Organizată în anul universitar 2009-2010 şi de atunci a rămas tradiţie ca studenţii Facultăţii de Inginerie Managerială şi Tehnologică, departamentul de Robotică și Mecatronică să organizeze împreună cu profesorii Departamentului de Mecatronică, concursul de roboţi mobili autonomi.
2011
Inerție si deci o a doua ediție
La a doua ediţie, succesul a continuat cu o creştere a numarului de sponsori şi participanţi din care 9 echipe au fost omologate pentru proba de Line Follower. A fost un succes!
2012
Am devenit de talie internațională
Aceasta a fost prima ediție în care concursul de roboți oradean a devenit international, cu participanţi din mai multe centre Universitare din ţară, și inclusiv din Ungaria.
2014
Robot Challenge
Concursul a adopat numele de Robot Challenge Oradea împreună cu primul logo oficial al concursului. De atunci am inceput sa ne promovam cu adevarat la modul profesionist.
